My Fitness Journey

My love of strength training began in college in the 80s. Hence, my retro-themed private fitness studio. Through the decades, I have enjoyed running, tennis, ice hockey, and road cycling. I found lifting to be a “must” for sports performance, mobility, and recovery. My fitness saved my life and led to faster recovery after a significant accident. Today, strength training is critical for how I age with vitality and better brain/body health.

Overcoming Challenges

A serious cycling accident left me with broken bones and a traumatic brain injury, shaping my approach to fitness and recovery. This experience led me to a holistic approach to fitness and wellness. It also brought me diverse clients, including those with visible and invisible disabilities or complex health challenges.
